Webnames.ca employs an extensive renewal notice process, which can easily be updated to suit your preferences.

The default Renewal notification settings are:

  • Email notices: At 4, 2, and 1 week prior to the domain expiration

  • Mail letter: A mail is sent via post approximately 3 weeks prior to the domain expiration

  • A courtesy phone call: Our staff will call you approximately 3 days prior to the domain expiration

By default, the Webnames.ca account owner is the recipient of all renewal notifications emails, letters, and phone calls.

Each of the three notification methods can be disabled / enabled via your Webnames.ca account. Additionally, the recipient of the notifications can be changed to be the domain's Admin, Billing or Technical contact.
