Handling Duplicate Payments, Orders, and Domain Renewal Refunds
At Webnames.ca, we strive to provide clarity and assistance for any billing-related concerns, including duplicate payments, duplicate orders, and domain renewal policies. Below, we outline our procedures and policies to address these issues.
Duplicate Orders
If you accidentally create a duplicate order, we can assist in resolving the issue. To do so, please provide all transaction-related details, such as:
Order IDs
Confirmation information
We will review the situation and take appropriate action. Duplicate orders that have not been processed will be voided. However, if one of the duplicate orders has successfully processed, it will remain valid, and no voiding action can be taken. For the best resolution, ensure you share detailed information promptly.
Refunds for Duplicate Payments
If a duplicate payment occurs, our team will typically void the duplicate transaction, provided it has not yet been charged. If the duplicate payment has been processed, our general approach is to provide support in resolving the matter based on specific transaction details.
Important Note:
Refunds are subject to the Webnames.ca billing and service policies. Specific conditions, such as domain-related fees, may differ and are detailed below.
Refund Policy for Duplicate Domain Renewal Payments
Domain renewal payments are non-refundable. Once a payment is made for a domain renewal, the domain will remain active until the end of the paid term, regardless of whether the payment was made as part of a duplicate transaction. This policy exists to ensure consistent service for your domains and maintain the integrity of renewal terms.
